International

There is increasing interest from international colleagues in the ideas and strategies which the Campaign has developed over its first 10 years. Several countries are now initiating their own nation-wide or city-wide Big Draw projects. The successful International Conference organised by the Campaign in early October 2009 will support and encourage even more widespread collaboration in the field of ‘drawing to learn’. The Campaign has initiated IDEAL, a new action research programme with seven other European cultural and educational organisations, funded by Grundtvig, which is focusing on adult learning. This will provide a growing number of case studies to illuminate the different approaches and experiences of the partners involved.
