Prepare A Case Study
The Campaign for Drawing is keen to hear about your Big Draw events. Why not submit a case study to the website? We will publish a selection of those submitted.
It is a good idea to prepare your material before you start to fill in the online form.
Prepare your written account
Your written account should be between 120-200 words in total.
Write in short paragraphs of around 20 words. Use bulleted lists where appropriate: this will help people read your account easily.
You account should cover
- where the Big Draw took place – including comment on the venue/environment
- what the activities were
- the media used (e.g. ink, paint, paper, light, leaves, collage etc)
- who attended the event
You will be able to credit any people or organisations you worked with, along with yourself as the organiser, in the “Supporting information” section.
You will need to have a brief introduction of your event ready of around 15 – 50 words.
Most of your text will go in the “Body” field under these details.
Prepare your images
Choose images that tell the story of your event to illustrate your case study. Include photographs that show people engaged in activities, the environment in which the event happened, as well as pictures of the work produced. Upload 6 - 20 images, and we will select the best of these.
Remember to add a short caption to each image.
Choose your images and resize them before uploading them to the website if you can. Images must be JPEG files. The minimum dimensions are 200 x 200 pixels, and the maximum dimensions are 800 x 600 pixels.
The maximum file size for an image is 1MB.
Video
You can paste the link to your YouTube or Vimeo video, if you have one, in the field provided, so have the details ready.
You can save your form while you work on it, so you can go back and review it before you submit it.
Enjoy creating your case study! We look forward to seeing it.
