Costumed Drawing

Museums are usually interesting, but imagine an empty high street shop transformed into a free temporary museum and a centre for storytelling, folklore, art and dressing up. What’s more, visitors designed all the exhibits here. Organised by 19-year old Rebecca Little, at this event children and adults learned about their area in vibrant detail. People in colourful costumes and actors, who strode about in historical outfits, added drama. An atmosphere of fun and learning, coupled with drawing, secret history walks, and other unusual activities, brought the local landscape vividly to life.
