The Latymer School Futuristic Street
Organised by the Art Department: Head of Art Carolyn Sanger and The Arts Society, run by Year 12 student Tom Kirby
Participants: staff and students aged between 11 and 18
This year’s Big Draw at The Latymer School was organised by the Art Department and The Arts Society, which is run and organised by our sixth form art students; it was held in our newly completed Seward Studio space.
The school community was invited to make its mark on the future by drawing a futuristic building to add to the London skyline.
We used a selection of coloured marker pens, and laid out rolls of wallpaper liner in order to make one continuous street of buildings.
This event was a great success with many members of staff and students from all year groups taking part. The results were put on display near the main entrance to the school.
